How do we make people feel at home?
While large facilities
have cafeterias that pump out a hundred homogenous plates of food . . .
Our little community has a brazilian cherry styled dining room that seats ten with a pass-through window
to the custom designed kitchen. Residents are encouraged to help prepare meals and the daily smells of
baking and cooking waft throughout the house.
Doesn’t that feel more like home?
And while large institutions
have "activity programs" which huddle fifty unwilling elders into a room to do a meaningless mundane task to pass
the time . . .
The BayView staff finds ways to accommodate our residents'
everyday routines so they can continue to be who they are.
What's Important to Us?
Ultimately, whether it's you, your spouse, or your mom or dad
who might need a new living situation, we believe quality of life is determined by two things;
1) The physical
environment that surrounds you.
2) The daily interactions with the people in your life.
By
focusing on those two elements, we have created the BayView Lifestyle.
If you'd like to see the difference
betweeen the BayView Lifestyle and the intstitutional lifestyle other places offer, visit them, then come visit us.
Meet our executive director, meet us, and meet our residents. If you decide to feel at home with us, you'll be a
part of the only community of its kind in San Diego. If not, I promise you, we are experts in senior living and will
point you in the right direction.
